***Coronavirus COVID-19 Update*** (March 17th, 2020)

March 17, 2020

Dear Stoney Creek Little League Families,

On Monday March 16th, we received further direction from Little League International to temporarily suspend all Little League activities between now and May 11th due to the increasing spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Stoney Creek Little League had multiple activities scheduled such as umpire clinics and player evaluations and coaches meetings/clinics.  All of these activities are now postponed until further notice.

The SCOLL Board of Directors will be meeting soon to discuss the latest suspension of Little League activities until May 11th including the potential impact to the start of the Stoney Creek Little League Season

We are committed to providing our membership with any and all updates as soon we have direction from either Little League International, Little League Canada, Province of Ontario or the City of Hamilton.  At this time, no decision has been made regarding the start of the Stoney Creek Little League season.  For those who remember and those who are new our baseball games and practices typically do not start up until after the long weekend in May, right now we are working on what the roll out  would look like in time to get some baseball activities going if we are given the go ahead to Start after May 11th.

Our goal will be to schedule our umpire training clinics, player evaluations, league practices and manage the handing out of uniforms.

It is our intent to have baseball this year so please don’t hesitate to register so we can begin baseball as soon as possible.

Thank you for your patience, support and understanding.

Best Regards,

Kevin Raftis

  1. Hello, has any decision been made on the little league baseball age 7-8? If it is cancelled when will the money be refunded?

  2. Hi Julie,
Unfortunately we don’t know exactly what is happening yet. We will refund any money paid for registrations if wanted.

I will try to post an update here as soon as I can.
    I’m sorry for any inconvenience.
    Stay safe.
    Tim S.
